Tomorrow morning the JH will conduct a shelter in place drill for a chemical spill. Remember it is only a drill so the students are prepared in case of a chemical spill.

Good morning Parents this message is to inform you that Mrs. Graf the social studies teacher sends emails to each of her students families and is concerned that some of you may not receive them. If you are not receiving emails please contact Mrs. Graf at the JH or call the office so that we can hopefully fix the issue.

JJHS will conduct a lockdown drill today. A lockdown means students and teachers clear the hallways, lock down their rooms, turn out the lights, move out of sight and maintain silence. They remain silent until the drill is over. Parents and visitors inside the building follow these lockdown procedures as well. A lockdown is call when there is a threat or hazard inside the school building. In an actual lockdown, the school would contact 911 and local police and other emergency agencies. We appreciate your cooperation as we practice lockdown procedures with your child. We value your child and their safety and want to be prepared in the event of an actual threat.

Hello parents, Jourdanton Junior High will conduct a lockout drill tomorrow. A lockout means all doors are locked and no one is let in or out of the building. School continues as normal. A lockout is called when there is a threat or hazard outside the school building. Typically, law enforcement or another emergency agency asks the school to go into a lockout. In the event of an actual lockout, parents will be informed once the school has full and accurate information. We appreciate your cooperation as we practice lockout procedures with your child. We value your child and their safety and want to be prepared in the event of an actual threat. Thank you! Sharon Neumann
