2019 Jourdanton Squaw Volleyball opens up district play this Friday night at 5 PM with a match in Natalia. Come out and support the girls then stay for the Indians football game also in Natalia at 7:30. Go Big Red!

PARENT ENGAGEMENT MEETINGS
On September 9th, JISD will be hosting the first of six parent engagement meetings. The topic of this meeting will be events that parents can help with and how to use the district's digital tools such as the parent portal and our website. There will be 2 meetings on the 9th. The first one will be at 8:00 at the elementary. They will be serving fruit, pastries and beverages. If you can't make it to the 8:00 meeting, there will be a second one at 6:00 in the evening. Snacks will be served at the evening meeting as well. We hope to see you there!

Football Season kicks off TONIGHT with the JV Indians taking on the Poteet Aggies in Poteet. Tomorrow night at 7:30, the Varsity Indians will play Poteet at Indian Stadium. Come out early and watch the Squaws Volleyball teams take on Poteet starting at 5 in the HS & JH gyms.

The 2019 Jourdanton Indians will begin practice on Monday morning at Indian Stadium. Players are to be ready to begin at 7 AM. The Field House opens at 6:30 AM. Varsity in the weight room, JV on the field.
National Honor Society Members will meet in the high school office Tuesday, July 30th at 2 p.m. to help with school supplies.
Congrats to the JHS wind ensemble as they placed 4th in the state for their concert march. Nice work!!!
