Dear Parents and Guardians,
Please take a moment to review your student’s school meal account balance.
- Free/Reduced Benefits Ended: If your student had free or reduced-price meals last year, those carryover benefits expired on September 25, 2026, and letters were sent out prior to the expiration date. If you haven't reapplied for this school year, your student's account has reverted to paid, and charges are accumulating.
- How to Reapply: You can apply online right now by visiting jourdantonisd.net, clicking on Parent Quick Links, and selecting Lunch Application. Alternatively, paper applications are available at every campus office.
- Paid Accounts: For students not on free or reduced meals, please ensure their accounts have a positive balance. Outstanding balances increase daily with each meal purchased, so timely payments are necessary to prevent growing debt.
