I love being the district librarian for Jourdanton ISD. Being a school librarian is more than just a job for me—it’s a passion. Every day, I get to foster a love of reading, ignite curiosity, and help students discover the power of information. Whether it's recommending the perfect book, teaching research skills, or creating a welcoming space for learning and exploration, I love the impact I have on young minds. Watching students grow as readers, critical thinkers, and lifelong learners brings me immense joy. The library isn’t just a room full of books; it’s a gateway to knowledge, creativity, and endless possibilities—and I’m honored to be its guide.
