Jourdanton ISD is committed to maintaining open communication and providing a fair and orderly process for addressing concerns and complaints from students, parents, employees, and community members.

The district encourages individuals to resolve concerns informally by communicating with the appropriate teacher, supervisor, principal, or administrator whenever possible.

When a concern cannot be resolved informally, individuals may submit a formal grievance in accordance with the district's adopted Board Policies.

Applicable Board Policies

Employee Complaints – DGBA (LOCAL)
Employees seeking to address employment-related concerns should follow the procedures outlined in Board Policy DGBA (LOCAL).

Student and Parent Complaints – FNG (LOCAL)
Students and parents seeking to address concerns related to student matters should follow the procedures outlined in Board Policy FNG (LOCAL).

Public Complaints – GF (LOCAL)
Community members and other members of the public may submit complaints in accordance with Board Policy GF (LOCAL).
